Vacuum drying is a common vacuum application process. Today, let's learn about several main factors related to the operational efficiency of vacuum dehumidification dryers.
The vacuum dehumidification dryer mainly involves several main components such as the dryer, condenser, and vacuum pump. The parameters involved include the temperature and absolute partial pressure of the evaporating gas of the dryer, the temperature and absolute pressure of the internal gas of the condenser, the inlet temperature and absolute pressure of the vacuum pump, and the saturated vapor pressure of the material at the corresponding temperature of the condenser. Under normal circumstances, the pressure relationship between the two is: absolute pressure inside the condenser ≤ inlet pressure of the vacuum pump ≤ absolute pressure of the evaporated gas inside the dryer ≤ saturated vapor pressure corresponding to the material. At the same time, the temperature should meet the requirements of dryer>condenser ≥ vacuum pump.
In practical applications, the pressure of the vacuum pump, the temperature of the condenser, and the temperature of the dryer are the main factors determining the balance between material evaporation and condensation rates. It is necessary to choose appropriate process parameters to ensure that the material can continuously evaporate in the dryer and continuously condense in the condenser. The temperature of the dryer needs to be determined based on the characteristics of material evaporation, deterioration, oxidation, etc., while the temperature of the condenser and refrigerant needs to be determined based on the partial pressure of the evaporating gas of the material, thereby determining the size and form of the vacuum system.
In theory, the lower the temperature of the refrigerant system, the lower the pressure of the vacuum pump, and the higher the heating temperature of the dryer, the higher the efficiency of the entire system. But considering the operating costs and equipment costs, it ultimately needs to be comprehensively considered.
